Take a breath.

Wait until emotions have settled.

Step 3

Determine whether an official protest/appeal process exists.

Step 4

Use the established process.

Step 5

Allow the appropriate team representative to assist when appropriate.

Never:

• Yell at officials.
• Threaten officials.
• Follow officials into restricted areas.
• Insult officials.
• Confront an official’s family.
• Post personal attacks online.

Parents should model the behavior we expect from our riders.
