The Costs of Motorsports
NXGen Access & Opportunity Program
NXGen provides a structured youth racing and personal development program with an annual program value of approximately $10,000 per athlete. Financial assistance and sponsorship opportunities are available for qualifying families.
Our goal is for the family not to be the sole source of the $10,000 required to put a qualified child on the NXGen starting line per season.
The NXGen Opportunity Fund exists to ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent a qualified young person from experiencing the personal development, education, mentorship, competition and career opportunities available through NXGen Racing Team.
The fund receives money from:
- Corporate sponsors
- Individual donors
- Foundations
- Motorsports manufacturers
- Dealerships
- Racing industry partners
- Fundraising events
- Matching-gift programs
- Grants
- In-kind donations
- Annual campaigns
Four Participation Levels
Family Funded
For families capable of covering most or all of the program.
They still benefit from NXGen fundraising and team sponsorships that reduce overall program costs.
Example:
$8,000–$10,000 family contribution
NXGen Supported
NXGen provides an Opportunity Award to cover part of the season.
Example:
Program Cost: $10,000
Family: $6,000
NXGen Opportunity Award: $4,000
Development Scholarship
For families with demonstrated financial need.
Example:
Program Cost: $10,000
Family: $3,000
NXGen Scholarship: $7,000
Full Opportunity Scholarship
This option is limited and competitive.
A full scholarship is based on both need and the child's commitment to the NXGen program—not simply financial need.
Example:
Program Cost: $10,000
Family: $0
NXGen Scholarship/Sponsors: $10,000
— Need determines the level of financial assistance.
Commitment, character, development and racing potential determine whether the child belongs in the NXGen Racing program.

Making the family part of the solution
NXGen will help families build the difference.
For example, a family receives a $5,000 scholarship.
They still have a $5,000 gap.
NXGen could provide the family with a Personal Sponsorship & Fundraising Toolkit.
The child could raise:
$500 from family/friends
$500 local business sponsor
$1,000 community sponsor
$500 fundraising event
$500 merchandise campaign
$1,000 corporate contribution
$1,000 NXGen Opportunity Fund
Now the family isn’t simply receiving assistance.
They’re learning how sponsorship works.
And that becomes part of the educational curriculum.
